BC Beer Awards & Festival 2026

The BC Beer Awards & Festival is British Columbia's flagship craft brewing competition and celebration, hosted annually by the BC Craft Brewers Guild during BC Craft Beer Month. The 2026 edition takes place Friday, October 16, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster, easily reached via SkyTrain (New Westminster Station). Beers are judged by certified experts across a wide range of styles — new for 2026 is the addition of best ciders made in BC. The evening combines an industry-focused awards ceremony (with awards for the top three beers in each category, plus Best in Show and Brewery of the Year) with a lively public festival featuring food vendors and games. Attendees receive a drink cup, two tokens for beer or cider samples, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, and event admission. Judging runs September 10–20, 2026; the public awards/festival is October 16.
